Terms of Service

Pause & Wish is a free hobby project by Loubna Latifine, Antwerp, Belgium. There is no company behind it. Contact: pauseandwish@gmail.com.

Pause & Wish helps you save products for later, build wishlists, share them with others and reflect on your spending habits. We don't sell products and we never process payments for items you save.

You need an account to use Pause & Wish. Please keep your login credentials secure and let us know if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You're responsible for the content you add, including product links, notes, photos and shared wishlists.

Please use Pause & Wish as intended. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data without permission, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use shared wishlists to spam or mislead others.

We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.

The products, notes and reflections you save belong to you. You can edit or delete them at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data.

When you save a product link, we may display a preview containing information such as the product name, price, shop name and preview image.

This information is provided by the shop through publicly available metadata, including Open Graph and schema.org data. We do not copy product descriptions, reviews or other editorial content.

Product images are loaded directly from the original shop and are not stored on our servers. If a shop removes an image or preview, it will no longer appear in Pause & Wish.

If you are a shop owner or rights holder and would prefer that your product information or images are not shown in previews, please contact us and we will review your request promptly.

Some product links may contain affiliate parameters when opened. This never affects the price you pay and helps support the continued development of Pause & Wish.

The original product destination always remains unchanged.

We work hard to keep Pause & Wish available and continuously improving. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

We may modify, add or discontinue features from time to time. For significant changes, we will try to provide reasonable notice.

Pause & Wish is provided "as is".

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost savings, lost opportunities, or issues arising from third-party websites, products or services linked through the app.

Product names, prices, availability and images are provided by third-party shops and may change at any time without notice.

These terms are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable European Union legislation.

If I ever have to suspend an account, I'll let you know by email and explain why. Don't agree? Reply to that email or write to pauseandwish@gmail.com and I'll take another look.

Buying me a chai latte via Ko-fi is a voluntary gift. You get nothing extra in return, so there is no right of withdrawal and no refund.
